What This Proves

Built a media brand from zero without a team or budget.
Created the editorial voice, visuals, packaging, and growth system.
Turned X into the attention engine and website into the long-form SEO hub.
Proved end-to-end ownership across content, production, and audience strategy.

The Problem

Most sports media brands rely on teams, budgets, or institutional backing. The challenge was to build a real, engaged audience independently with no agency, no budget, and no built-in distribution.

The Approach

I developed a clear editorial voice, a repeatable content system, and broadcast-style visual production using DaVinci Resolve and Affinity Designer.

I built a multi-platform strategy with X as the attention engine, Instagram as the visual storytelling channel, and the website as the long-form SEO destination.

Everything from publishing cadence and graphics to voice, packaging, and audience growth was owned end-to-end by one person.

The Outcome

Dodgers Tailgate grew from zero to more than 43,000 followers on X, proving that a solo operator with strong systems, clear positioning, and disciplined execution can build a media brand that competes.

Final Takeaway

This project proves that one person with a clear voice, disciplined systems, and strong visual packaging can build a sports media brand that earns real attention.
